Craig Markhardt, CRMS

Craig recently became South Dakota's first and only Certified Residential Mortgage Consultant (CRMS).  He originates and is the staff trainer for Keystone Mortgage.  He is the current and founding President of the South Dakota Association of Mortgage Professionals, and works with the State of SD with consumer lending issues.  He is one of two Delegate Council Members for SD and reports national mortgage lending issues back to our state from the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. 

He and his partners purchased Keystone Mortgage in 2002, and have built the company into a professional, proven, and reliable place for homeowners to get the best advice possible when obtaining a home loan.

Craig attended South Dakota State University and is actively involved with community education and consumer protection when it comes to the mortgage industry.  He is a member of the Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire, the SD Homebuilder's Association, and is a member of Optimist International.  He travels throughout the country to attend meetings and conferences to bring the latest information back to originators in South Dakota, and his company.
